Our Serpaia Tuscan reds faithfully embody the winemaking philosophy of our winery in San Michele a/A: in our Podere Maremmello in Maremma, as well we make typical Tuscan wines with integrated farming methods, just like in Trentino.

Serpaia: where we make our Tuscan wines

Our estate is located near Magliano, south of Grosseto: 30 hectares of idyllic hillside. Sunny and caressed by sea breezes, the estate has ideal characteristics for our production of vintage Tuscan wines. We brought passion and expertise to sunny Maremma, where we make balanced, fruity, captivating wines.

Tuscan wines: passion for reds

Tuscany is renowned for its ancient winemaking tradition, among the oldest of the country. Archaeological findings date it back to the Ancient Romans and Etruscans.

Tuscan wines, in particular reds, are famous for their elegance and bouquet. They express the uniqueness of a territory where grapes ripen thanks to long and sunny summers, mitigated by the sea breeze that reaches the hills from the sea.

Tuscan red wines stand for Italy’s excellence in the world and are among the most exported Italian products.
We make five Tuscan reds, two based on Sangiovese: Morellino di Scansano, Dono and three super tuscans Serpaiolo, Mèria and Gran Serpaia.
