SERPAIA WINE: CHARACTER AND ENERGY

 
Since harvest number one our vines proved to be strong, perfect for our soil rich in clay and minerals. The grapes rich aromas, the high polyphenols of the skins and high sugar levels resulted in structured wines perfect for a long ageing: Mèria, Dono and Gran Serpaia.

In 2018 the Endrici family started its cooperation with Lorenzo Landi, a renowned Tuscan enologist and agronomist who created some of the most important red wines of the area. The aim was to further improve the style of our Serpaia di Endrizzi wines. 
“Character and energy from the terroir” this is our motto: starting from the harvest in 2019, together with Lorenzo Landi we decided to shorten the maceration on the skins and introduce big oak barrels to balance the effect of the barriques. This resulted in fruity wines, perfect for a long ageing, rich in structure and that fully represent the peculiarities of the grapes they were made with.
